PROVIDENCE BRUINS SIGN FREDERIC BRUNET TO AMATEUR TRYOUT AGREEMENT
Apr 10, 2023Providence, RI - Providence Bruins General Manager Evan Gold announced today, April 10, that the Providence Bruins have signed defenseman Frederic Brunet to an Amateur Tryout Agreement.
Brunet, 19, skated in 66 games this season for the Rimouski Oceanic and the Victoriaville Tigres of the QMJHL, tallying 73 points on 16 goals. The 6-foot-3, 189-pound defenseman played the last four seasons in the QMJHL, totaling 128 points in 163 career games.
The Gatineau, Quebec, native was originally selected by Boston in the fifth round (132nd overall) of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
