Providence Bruins General Manager Evan Gold announced today, March 24, that the Providence Bruins have recalled forward Brooklyn Kalmikov from the Maine Mariners.

Forward Riley Tufte scored two of four goals in the third period to power the Providence Bruins past the Utica Comets 5-2 on Saturday night at the Amica Mutual Pavilion.

Forward Joey Abate netted two goals in the second period, while defenseman Victor Soderstrom posted a goal and two assists to boost the Providence Bruins past the Utica Comets 4-3 on Friday night at the Adirondack Bank Center.

The Providence Bruins’ comeback effort was thwarted by the Lehigh Valley Phantoms as they fell 6-3 on Wednesday night at the PPL Center. 

The first place Providence Bruins (45-12-1-0) hit the road for two of this week’s three games as the countdown to postseason hockey begins.

The Providence Bruins were edged by the Springfield Thunderbirds 4-3 on Sunday evening at the Amica Mutual Pavilion.

Defenseman Ty Gallager netted his first career hat-trick to power the Providence Bruins past the Hartford Wolf Pack 7-0 on Saturday night at the Amica Mutual Pavilion.
