After a perfect six point road trip to Cleveland, the first place Providence Bruins (10-1-0-0) begin a five game home stand in the middle of November.

Providence Bruins General Manager Evan Gold announced today, November 10, that the Providence Bruins have recalled defenseman Loke Johansson from the Maine Mariners.

Forward Matthew Poitras’ first tally of the season stood as the overtime winning goal as the Providence Bruins knocked off the Cleveland Monsters 3-2 on Saturday afternoon at Rocket Arena.

Goaltender Michael DiPietro stopped a career-high 42 shots to help the Providence Bruins outlast the Cleveland Monsters 2-1 on Friday night at Rocket Arena.

The first place Providence Bruins (8-1-0-0) will travel west to Cleveland, Ohio to face-off with the Monsters (3-1-2-1) in a two-game weekend series at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. 

Forward Riley Tufte scored his team leading sixth and seventh goals of the season and added an assist, helping the Providence Bruins top the Charlotte Checkers 5-2 on Sunday evening at the Amica Mutual Pavilion.

The Providence Bruins were blanked by the Hershey Bears 2-0 on Saturday night at the Amica Mutual Pavilion.

The Providence Bruins topped the previously unbeaten Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins 3-1 on Wednesday night at Mohegan Arena for their seventh straight win to remain undefeated.
