Providence Bruins General Manager Evan Gold announced today, December 7, that the Providence Bruins have signed defenseman Christian Wolanin to a one-year AHL contract. 

Defenseman Christian Wolanin netted the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the Providence Bruins past the Springfield Thunderbirds 4-3 on Saturday night at the MassMututal Center.

The Providence Bruins fell 4-1 to the Laval Rocket on Tuesday night at Place Bell.

Forward Jake Schmaltz notched a goal and three assists to help the Providence Bruins fend off the Belleville Senators 6-4 on Sunday evening at CAA Arena.

Forward Jacob Perreault netted two goals and added an assist as the Providence Bruins topped the Belleville Senators 6-3 on Saturday night at CAA Arena.

Forward Fabian Lysell scored twice, including a highlight reel tally, while goaltender Michael DiPietro stopped 35 shots to lead the Providence Bruins past the Toronto Marlies 5-1 on Wednesday night at the Coca-Cola Coliseum.

Goaltender Michael DiPietro stopped 34 shots in the Providence Bruins 1-0 loss to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Saturday night at the Amica Mutual Pavilion.
