Providence Bruins

ALBANY, N.Y. - The puck dropped at 7:00pm at the Times Union Center to start the P-Bruins second game against the Devils this season.

The Providence Bruins came out strong in the first period with 14 shots on goal, nearly doubling Albany’s 8 shots on goal. Corey Kane got the Providence Bruins on the board first at the 15:32 mark with the assists going to Cross and Smith.

The Albany Devils went into the second period trailing the P-Bruins and eager to get on the board. Boucher tied up the score for Albany with just one second remaining in the 2nd. 

With the score tied at one, the Providence Bruins and the Devils entered the third battling for the lead. Ammon broke the tie for the P-Bruins 3:46 into the period with the assists going to Warsofsky and Kane. Pelley tied the score at 2 for the Devils at the 14:43 mark. With just seconds left in the third period, it seemed as though the game was going to go into overtime. With 4.9 seconds on the clock, Ethan Werek scored the winning goal for the Providence Bruins with the assists going to Stuart and Ferlin. The Providence Bruins defeated the Albany Devils 3-2.
