Providence, RI – After a successful sweep of their weekend games, the Providence Bruins are at a season best with four consecutive wins placing them number two in the Atlantic Division. This three-win stretch came after two roster moves. Providence brought one player up from the Atlanta Gladiators and received another from Boston.

Defensemen Ben Marshall was brought up November 29, 2017 from the Atlanta Gladiators and appeared in all three weekend games. Marshall has played in 17 games for Atlanta this season, collecting 3 goals and 9 assists. The 25-year-old has previously played for Providence during the 2016-2017 season, where he appeared in 14 games and had a total of 2 goals and 4 assists. Marshall also appeared in 3 games during the 2017 Calder Cup for the Providence Bruins. However, he spent most of his 2016-2017 season with the Atlanta Gladiators, playing in 34 games, collecting 5 goals and 17 assists.

Jordan Szwarz also rejoined the Providence Bruins this week when he was reassigned from Boston on November 28, 2017. It was almost impossible not to notice the right-wing with his plus 5 rating for the weekend, giving Providence two goals to add to his 7 goals of the season. The 26-year-old has taken over the season lead rating for the Providence Bruins with a plus 12. While in Boston for the 2017-2018 season, Szwarz has played in 10 games and had 3 assists.

Providence will play in three home games this weekend for the only time this season, starting Friday at 7:05 against the Hartford Wolf Pack. The P-Bruins will then play back-to-back games against the Utica Comets. Saturday’s puck will drop at 7:05pm and Sunday at 3:05pm.
