P-BRUINS FALL TO BRIDGEPORT SOUND TIGERS 3-0
Bridgeport, CT– The Providence Bruins fell to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers 3-0 in their third road game this weekend.
The Bridgeport Sound Tigers took the lead early when Zolnierczyk scored a short handed goal in the 1st to make the score 1-0. The Sound Tigers maintained the lead through the end of the 1st.
The Bridgeport Sound Tigers kept their 1-0 score through the second. Despite several power play oppotunities, the Bruins were unable to capitalize during the second.
After two periods of play, the Sound Tigers kept the 1-0 lead as the teams continued to battle. With 8:41 left to play in the third, Mouillierat netted a power play goal for the Sound Tigers. Halmo ended the period with a third goal for the Tigers in the empty P-Bruins net with just 1:48 left to play.
