Providence Signs Presizniuk to PTO
Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins, in their 20th season in the American Hockey League, announced today that the club has signed forward Adam Presizniuk to a Professional Tryout Agreement. A native of Calgary, AB, Presizniuk made his professional debut with the Trenton Titans (ECHL) on October 14. In 15 games with the Titans this season, the forward has recorded 3+7=10 totals and two penalty minutes. Presizniuk is a four-year product of the Union College. As an assistant captain in 2010-11, Presizniuk recorded 12 goals and 21 assists for 33 points. The 6'0", 180 lb. forward led the Dutchmen in scoring as a sophomore with a career-high 16 goals and 38 points. Union's most valuable player in 2008-09, his 38 points set a school record and he became only the third Dutchmen in Division I history to lead the team in points, goals and assists in the same season. The 24-year-old finished his collegiate career with 131 points on 48 goals and 83 assists. |
