 P-BRUINS ANNOUNCE TRAINING CAMP PLANS
Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins, entering their 20th season in the American Hockey League, today announced their training camp schedule for the 2011-12 season. Camp is set to begin on Tuesday, September 27 and will run through Thursday, October 6, with sessions to be held at the Dunkin' Donuts Center and the Rhode Island Sports Center.
Prior to the start of training camp on Tuesday, players will be skating from Sunday through Monday at the Dunkin' Donuts Center under the watch of a Boston directed coaching staff. This three-day period is closed to the media. Please note that training camp practices held only at the Rhode Island Sports Center are open to the public. Saturday, October 1 - Rhode Island Sports Center 10 a.m. - Noon Sunday, October 2 - OFF DAY Monday, October 3 - Rhode Island Sports Center 10 a.m. - Noon Tuesday, October 4 - Dunkin' Donuts Center 10 a.m. - Noon Wednesday, October 5 - Dunkin' Donuts Center 10 a.m. - Noon Thursday, October 6 - Dunkin' Donuts Center 10 a.m. - Noon Providence serves as the host team in one of its two preseason games as the club takes on the Springfield Falcons at the New England Sports Center on September 30 at 7:05 p.m. in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Providence opens the regular season at the Dunkin' Donuts Center on Friday, October 7 at 7:05 p.m. against the St. John's IceCaps.
