Washington Trust Holds 10th Annual Peanut Butter Drive

Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins will be collecting jars of peanut butter beginning one hour before their game on Friday, March 26 in support of the Washington Trust's "PB Xpress", its annual peanut butter drive for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.

The peanut butter drive kicked off on Wednesday, March 3 and runs until the end of April. Washington Trust has collected peanut butter annually since 2001 and to date has donated 77 tons of peanut butter to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.
