P-BRUINS ANNOUNCE TRAINING CAMP PLANS

Camp Set to Begin on Monday, September 21

Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins, the 2008-09 Atlantic Division champions of the American Hockey League, today announced their training camp schedule for the 2009-10 season. Camp is set to begin on Monday, September 21 and will run through Thursday, October 1, with all sessions to be held at the Rhode Island Sports Center in North Smithfield, RI. All practices are open to the public.

The full training camp schedule, including three preseason games, is as follows:

 Wednesday, September 23  Rhode Island Sports Center 10 a.m. - Noon

   vs. Lowell @ Iorio Arena, Walpole, MA    6:05 p.m.

 Saturday, September 26  Rhode Island Sports Center 10 a.m. - Noon

Providence serves as the host team against the Springfield Falcons at the New England Sports Center on September 23 in Marlborough, MA. For information on tickets for the game, beginning at 7:05 p.m., please call the New England Sports Center at (508) 229-2700.

The P-Bruins will again serve as the host team on September 24 as Providence takes on the Lowell Devils at the Iorio Arena at 6:05 p.m. in Walpole, MA. Tickets for the game are just $10 and can be purchased by visiting the Iorio Arena or emailing Chrissy Bartletta at chrissy@rbhockey.com.

Providence opens the regular season at the Dunkin' Donuts Center on Sunday, October 4 at 4:05 p.m. against Springfield. P-Bruins season tickets and Flex Tix packages are on sale now for the 2009-10 season.
